Charli you are such a beautiful little baby! We feel so incredibly blessed to have been gifted another sweet girl. God is so good! Here are some highlights of your first month:
*Much of this first month we were simply trying to wake you up. You are quite the sleeping beauty! The first several weeks you slept all of 22 hours in a day!
*You have such long fingers and toes and the same little nose as your sister, Ansley.
*At your 2 week check-up you weighed 8 lbs 9 oz. (50%) and 21.5 inches (89%)
*We have no trouble burping you and you hardly spit up. We can simply sit you upright and you always let out a big one. Ha! I'm so amazed by this because you're sister was so stingy with hers and spit up ALL the time! It's the little things....:)
*You are such a little smiler already and you have the sweetest little dimple on your right cheek. Those precious smiles may just be gas, but we'll take them!
*You aren't much on nursing (you gave mommy quite a time for the first week), but after some diligence, we worked it out. ;)
*Bathtime is a favorite of yours. I haven't heard you fuss once and I think you really enjoy it. Even when daddy gives you his famous scrub down!
*You look long and skinny to most of us, you have a sweet little double-chin, strawberry blonde hair, dimples on your thin little knees, adorable little ears, and beautiful blue eyes. You are just precious!
*You love to coo with daddy and you're in love with your sister. She can usually calm you down and she loves to call you sugar doll or Charli Aden (we have no idea where the name Aden came from).
*So far so good with your sleeping at night. You usually go down around 9:30 and sleep until around 4am. During the day you eat about every 3 hours.
*You love your swing! We didn't use the swing much with Ansley, but it seems to really entertain you. You smile so big at the birds chirping.
Charli you have been such a sweet little baby. It has been so fun to watch you grow in just the short month that we've known you. We love you so much and can't wait to see your personality come to life in the coming months!
