Charli Suttyn: 18 Months (Late!)

 

*"Dank u" is one of the sweetest things you say. Recently though you've started saying "Tha thu" (I guess you're at least trying to make the "t" sound!)

*You love to carry around your little toothbrush and toothpaste, asking everyone in sight to apply some more toothpaste to your brush once you've sucked it all off.  That usually happens at least 10 times a day and your sister is such a good sport about it.  Me....not so much.  Needless to say, we go through LOTS of your toothpaste!   

*You are as bow-legged and pigeon-toed as they come still, but good Lord it's cute. 

*When you walk, you swing your left arm pretty vigorously and you usually have on your pink boots.  It is quite a sight!

*You love your little board books!  Sometimes you like to sit in Ansley's pink chair and read to yourself, but most days you ask for one of us to read to you.  And who could say no to the sweetest little face, especially when you nudge your way into our laps and say "mor mor".  Those are some of my favorite moments with you!

*You are taking 2 naps a day still (most days) and you sleep from about 8:30/9 until about 8:30/9.  I'm wondering how that will change once you and Ansley share a room. Yikes.

*You are wearing a size 4 diaper and usually 18-24 month clothes.  Your long legs usually need the length of 2T, but thankfully you are able to wear most of Ansley's clothes and we've even been putting on some 3T leggings because we have them.  The hand-me-downs continue!

*Babies have been a BIG deal around here lately.  You're usually carrying and mothering one at all times! You love to put them in the high chair, feed them, and most likely you've got one of them swaddled up in a blanket.  You are quite the little mommy!

*You love to swing outside on our playground and usually you'll put on your coat and head for the door.  Good thing it's normally locked because you'd go right on out without me!

*You are so independent (you actually should have been our firecracker baby!).  You want no help from any of us with eating, walking, or.....anything really.  This makes for some interesting stand offs between us.  Most of the time though, I'm weak. :/

*You will finally give us kisses and hugs when we request it!  I can't even explain how exciting this is for all of us.  We love some LOVE from our Charli girl!

Charli, you are so fun.  You are stubborn and sassy, but oh so sweet too.  What a joy you are little girl!
